Clandon School of Dance will only use personal information if we have proper cause. This may include sharing with third parties for the purpose of entering children for examinations, obtaining performers license and participating in other dance-specific activities.

USE OF INFORMATION
To process your child’s registration for classes in the school.
Provide information to the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) for examination purposes.
To enable us to obtain performers licenses for Surrey County Council for our shows
To enable us to enter children in festival competitions and other external events
We may use software tools to measure and collect session information on our website, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

RETENTION OF INFORMATION
We hold your personal information for as long as a family member attends classes at Clandon School of Dance or as long as is set out in any relevant contract or agreement you hold with Clandon School of Dance.
Our website is hosted on the six.com platform. wix.com provides us with the online platform that allow us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through wix.com's data storage, databases and the general wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION
External organisations - we do not give out your information to any other organisation / school other than the aforementioned third party services.

Teachers - will be provided parent / guardian telephone numbers for use in an emergency, and necessary medical information.

Parents - will not be given information without your permission.

ACCESS AND UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION
The accuracy of your information is important to us. You can access and change your details on the ClassManager Parent Portal.
Please email -jessica.clandondance@gmail.com if you have any issues accessing the Parent Portal.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, resolve a dispute, collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text or post.

SIGNING THE CONSENT FORM
By submitting your details and ticking the T&C / Policy box we assume consent to use the information for administrative purposes to enable us to provide you with the services you expect.

CHILDREN 13+ YEARS
For the entire time a child attends lessons at Clandon School of Dance, parental consent will always be asked to enter children for examinations, festivals or any other activity. Teachers will have initial discussions with children aged 13 years and over about any proposed dance activity they could undertake.

ASSISTANT TEACHERS PERSONAL INFORMATION

Should a teacher give their phone number it should only be used to inform of absences.
Messages can be left 9am - 9pm, Monday - Saturday ONLY - teachers will respond as soon as they are able.
Teachers can ask for their personal details to be deleted from your phone and other devices.
Teachers will delete you personal information from their phone or other devices when your child leaves Clandon School of Dance.
